Dave and I took Jake to Santa Cruz today to celebrate his 6-month birthday and escape the heat of San Jose. Jake loved watching the waves, but whenever I tried to put him down on the wet sand, he would cry. Being the horrible parents that we are, Dave and I did it a few times so we could get a picture of his cute crying face and sneak in a few laughs as he desperately tried to keep his little feet off of the sand.
