Little house of horrors

We are on week 4 of straight sickness in our house. Croup, RSV, ear infections, and now pink eye (or something like pink eye that's not *really* pink eye but causes both boys to have gooky, pink eyes - I've started just tuning out the pediatrician and nodding and ending our visit with "see you tomorrow!"). We've hit $200 in co-pays this month alone and close to $500 in unused daycare days (I figured that out myself last night just to cheer myself up). I also finally dragged myself to the doctor and had a fever of 103 and a raging sinus infection that I let go so long it's causing all my upper teeth to ache like crazy. Dave has somehow avoided it all. This is one of those months I'd give anything to live back east where I know my family and friends would take my snotty, gooky kids from their snotty mother for just a few hours so I could take a shower and eat something very soft since I can't chew yet. (Come on penicillin - it's been 48 hours!)

Here's my snotty kid spreading his germs at the playground!
