We're back!

finally landed in San Jose! I think Jake's about to jump out the window....

After an awesome week and a half and one verrrrry long flight back (maybe the longest one yet - I think we were actually on the plane for close to 8 hours) we are back in San Jose. It's a bittersweet return because I had one day to get over wishing we lived back East and get myself back to work after a six month leave (yeah, try logging on to any network after being gone for six months - I'm on hold with our help desk, which I guess has moved to India in the past six months!) The trip highlights were meeting up with Jenna, Randy, Owen and Amelia in Mystic, Connecticut, playing with Katie and little peanut Marin, seeing Steph's Canobie Lake Park-ish back yard, riding in a "real truck" at Heather's, and of course lots of visits with Jack, Allie, Emma and Ryan. Jake and Will also spent lots of nights with Grammie and Grampy so Dave and I could have some much-needed time out. 

Three weeks in a trailer last year was way too hard, but a week and a half in my old 'hood just wasn't enough (plus we're realizing the flights are just too long to torture our kids with very often). Come on housing market!!
