one week left

I've reached 39 weeks! I can't believe the end of my pregnancy is already here - it went by fast. I'm feeling good, but feeling giant. I've had such an easy pregnancy so far, but now the swelling in my hands and feet have gotten out of control and I have carpal tunnel in both arms (probably shouldn't be typing). I still feel like the little munchkin is going to be a boy, but that hasn't made picking out names any easier. We're down to a few for boys, but for girls we're still all over the place. Our 'short list' keeps changing... new names and longer lists. We're in trouble if we get a pink one! I'm going back to the doctor this afternoon to get my swelling checked out and hoping she doesn't choose to induce me. I just don't feel ready, although I think I'm starting to realize I will never feel fully ready. I'm finally getting downright scared about labor, especially when I catch myself in a mirror and think "how the hell am I going to get this out of me?" It really looks like I'm toting around a 10-year-old, not a baby. But despite being scared, worried, and anxious, nothing can beat out how happy I am that I'm going to be a mom.
